First of all Len is exactly right. The emails were sales ads and we don't allow them on the forum. You can bet if Tony posted his own email on here everyone would be hitting bad post and we couldn't delete it fast enough. But it seems there is a different agenda here.

I think the point you and Len are missing is context.

It's one thing for someone to post their own blatant
promotions... it's another thing altogether to post
something that was received and is up for discussion.
The major difference is that all links were removed.

Yes, it's a different agenda... an agenda designed to
expose and critique a promotional campaign that could
have serious implications for this industry as well as
individuals who see it and try to emulate it.

It's interesting to note that subsequent emails received
from Tony were toned down significantly from the rhetoric
and claims of previous emails. That may be just a coincidence
or it may be that Tony changed some of the wording based
on some of the critiques posted. Only Tony knows.

Best to ya'

Terry, I can tell you candidly that this thread and the critiques of this
forum have zero impact on what I write in my marketing.

Believe it or not, I didn't even bother to read the criticisms of
what I'd written. What point would it serve?

Jana's avatar was the exact same pic posted on a Russian Bride website

I called he on it and posted the links after they were emailed to me by someone from this board who was checking out the Russian bride website and found Jana's Pic

She said they were hers and they were stolen and used on the websites

I was also accused of making the website and posting her pics

I didn't think you probably did but, to answer your
question, some of the stuff in those first few emails
was dangerously close to crossing some legal lines.

Don't ask me to cite them now... they've been deleted
and I don't recall the specific wording. They just raised
some strong red flags with me as I read them.

Hi Everyone!

You've asked for answers as to why we deleted the emails. Sorry I haven't responded sooner. My son is on AF leave from Afghanistan so I was spending a little time with him. That is why I asked the mods to put Ricky on hold until I got back today to spend some time reading through the thread.

First of all Len is exactly right. The emails were sales ads and we don't allow them on the forum. You can bet if Tony posted his own email on here everyone would be hitting bad post and we couldn't delete it fast enough. But it seems there is a different agenda here. Deb said "Really...I am just trying to figure this out...why you are posting all of Tony's emails (updates) and thats all." and I am wondering about that myself. If you'd like to read them, just email Ricky personally.

I've read through the thread a couple of times now and nothing is lost by those emails being deleted, in fact the thread makes much more sense. It is now "vigorously discussing and debating" Numis and the gold and silver business. Or was the thread supposed to be a Tony expose'?? If so, that's not the purpose of the forum and Mark would agree with that.

And in response to what Craig M wrote about the forum guidelines. Yes, we will delete posts or edit at our discretion. That generally happens when a company or individual is being discredited or bashed without provocation or for unfounded reasons. When things start to cross lines... not guidelines, but when a thread gets to a point where it just doesn't seem to be ok. Then, we delete. And that's why there is scam.com, for those who don't agree with us and like a little more drama and industry negativity. [:D]

Instead of saying this again myself, I'll take a quote Bobby and Bill [:)]
Imagine the possibilities of making a difference if people were to channel their negative energy, jealousy, and thoughts to being positive, lifting others up, and investing that time and energy in to contribution.

This board is filled with amazing people who can really contribute to the industry and the lives of others. Why waste your time bashing a company or an individual? Keep on truckin', Bobby

Hey Bobbyc.... I agree, Don't get me wrong I love a great debate and Have been is some good ones (KW).... And sometimes have been mean spirited myself, but at the end of the day, the high road should be the direction taken. Let's try to help instead of hang one of our fellow members.... Bill

If you have any questions that I haven't answered, go ahead and send me an email brenda@mlm

Thanks!!

First, please tell your son THANK YOU for his service to our country.

Now, regarding this thread. Here's the impression you've given to an industry outsider, who is currently evaluating several MLM companies. You're sweeping the mess under the carpet. It's your board, so you can do whatever you want. It just looks bad.

I'm really surprised that MLMers would want to let scam.com become the industry watchdog.

Seriously. I joined this forum years ago and don't remember you being here. And it appears I've contributed a few thouand posts to the community. I think it's safe to say that I'm a "fellow member

I wasn't going to post anymore but I have to because this comment is just...BIZARRE!

You don't remember me being here?

I have only been here for 8 years and I have a few thousand posts myself. ( 7070 posts under DEB)

Where have you been all that time?? [:-/]

I first met you about "12 long years ago" on Chris Tinneys forum mlmforums.com.
You and me and Sue Seward and Gery DiMarco were regular posters there.

Remember??

After posting there for a few years I THEN found mlm.com.

You REALLY need to take something for your failing memory!

P.S.

And when I said to Bill "What do you consider one of our own" I did NOT mean the number of your posts.
I was referring to your anti-mlm rhetoric "mindset" on a MLM FORUM and all the times you belittled the mlm model and ridiculed it!
THAT is what I meant when I said that to Bill!

There is no rule against having more than one username no.

If they ever decide to make that rule I will get rid of aloe_girl and just use Deb.

Just an idea . . .

If peeps can sell a silver coin that has a face value of only $1 for $30 to $200 - and it's because it's a "collectible" - why not just mint your own silver coins, keep each run to say 10,000 coins, make them 2 ounces to be different, mark them up to say $99 and get a thousand or so peeps interested in buying and selling them?

Let the market dictate the "value" once the initial $99 sale is made.

I mean the silver content is the "asset" - so, at worse case - it's worth at least whatever the going rate is for silver.

Just as with Tony's company - the true value is in the eyes of the beholder or buyer.

I know it sounds crazy - but it doesn't seem to hard to mint coins with the appropriate molds / dies, etc. Just a little graphite molds, a press, some water, a nice case, a simple sticker - walla - you have a "collectible coin".

Heck - might as well start a "grading company" too . . .

Okay, but please remember there's a huge difference between hiding and posting too much personal information. There are some bad people who read message boards. However, I will consider opening a second account.
