Ignite Helps Texans Create Their Own Economic Stimulus Plan

 Dallas, Tx-April 20,2009--Dallas-based Stream Energy reported today that it has seen a tripling in new Associates with the company's marketing arm, Ignite, from last quarter 2008 to first quarter 2009.

 

 

The growth reflects a national trend in the direct sales industry. The Direct Selling Association reports that at least 15 million people work in direct sales. This compares to 2003, when 13.3 million Americans were in direct sales. The increase in the number of people discovering the direct sales industry comes as the economy continues to sag and thousands of people are saying "no" to future layoffs.

 

 

These new entrepreneurs join Ignite Independent Associates like Eric Johnson, who works full-time at an Irving, Texas, car dealership and signed up with Ignite in late 2008 after his income dipped substantially. The results so far? "I would say 'excellent,'" enthused Eric, who adds that he has been able to maintain his pre-recession income levels.

 

 

Ignite Founder and Stream Energy Senior Managing Director Chris Domhoff noted that working with Ignite helps Associates earn the money they need right now, plus provides a road to success if they want to turn direct sales into a full-time career.
