Mark Warburton Promoted To XanGo Japan General Manager

LEHI, UT—May 13, 2009— XanGo, LLC, creator of the mangosteen beverage category, announced today the promotion of Mark Warburton to General Manager of its Japan market. Warburton will continue to live and work in Tokyo, where he has been since August successfully implementing growth plans targeted for the second half of this year and building toward 2010.

Fluent in Japanese, and having lived and worked in Japan for more than 10 years in various capacities, Warburton is expected to employ his strong business acumen to help grow sales and increase the company’s profitability in this key international market.
Before joining XanGo, Warburton spent nearly seven years in Japan working as a vice president of a leading competitor in Japan, driving new business development strategies and managing several large-scale initiatives. Recently, he helped another company grow their Japan business by nearly 30 percent while overseeing their operations as the Japan General Manager. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in several international development projects and has opened offices around the globe.
Warburton has a bachelor’s degree in international marketing, with a minor in Japanese from Brigham Young University, along with an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He will continue reporting directly to Brian Carmack, Senior Vice President, International.
