First, contact your company’s corporate office to see if a press release has been written, and if so, request permission to post a copy. This is great free exposure for your company!


What Is A Press Release?

A press release is an announcement or statement issued by your company to specific publications and news related media to promote a person, event, or product within your MLM company. Ideally, your goal for a press release should be to get the reader to be interested enough to want to follow-up with your company. Press releases provide a great way to increase exposure and disseminate information regarding your business. When Should A Press Release Be Used?


A press release should only be used when you have something newsworthy to announce. Below are a few examples:

  1. Company Pre-launch or Launch.
  2. New Partner or Executive.
  3. New Products.
  4. New Divisions within Your Company.
  5. Major Events – Huge sales, customer appreciation, etc.
  6. Charitable Contributions.
  7. Conventions - Feature items such as: guest speakers, exceptional attendance, extraordinary location, etc.


Although press releases generate publicity for your MLM company, they must be well-written, informative, and newsworthy so that they work for instead of, against your company.
